Licensed Psychologist , Dr. Costa is Director of the YCS Institute for Infant and Preschool Mental Health. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and an Advisory Board member of the Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders. His holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Temple University and has presented and published extensively about infant mental health. In October 2007, he received the Christian Kjeldsen Champion for Children Award. In January, 2010, Governor Jon Corzine appointed him to the newly established New Jersey Council for Young Children.
