My daughter loves pull toys – found a great one by Melissa & Doug that was inexpensive and I LOVE that it does more than just roll! Here’s where I found it: http://www.yuppiebabyonline.com/toys_wooden-003.html

Dora’s Plush Backpack in toddler size. Fits all the essentials: sippy cup, snack trapper and teddy. It also gives our young toddler a little sense of independence (which she loves)…she “has” to be responsible for her own things!

Karaoke Revolution for the Wii or Xbox 360….preferably the Xbox 360 because you can download more music. The Wii does not have that option. This new version allows you to really customize your character and has great stage settings and also allows you to video yourself(xbox and ps3).

My 2 year old son loves kitchen and helping out in the kitchen, so we are getting him a small island kitchen with a bunch of food and cooking accessories. I’m so excited because I know he will love it, I can’t wait ’til Christmas. Other family members got him the table top Melissa and Doug Easle with paint accessories, a door way puppet theater with a couple of animal puppets and the Skuut bicycle. I’ll likely put some of these away for a few months since his birthday is not until August. BTW, his favorite gift last year was the Parents drum filled with instruments (he still plays with it every day and we use it to store other shakers, etc. that we’ve bought) and the remote control car. His favorite second birthday gifts were a Thomas and Friends figure 8 train set and a cash register. I hope this helps.

The gift I want most for my toddler is the gift of happiness and laughter. To have my child get through the cold months without getting sick is another gift in itself! Holidays are more than just presents but its the gift of joy, peace and understanding for those you love most!
